Farm Tour this Saturday
Meet the farmers on the porch this Saturday at 10am for a tour through Sunset Farm! Enjoy a beautiful Fall landscape and see what new cool-season vegetable varieties we have growing this season! Come ready to ask all of your gardening questions and learn more about growing food using sustainable practices from our expert farmers. Participants will enjoy the flavors of Fall by tasting veggies fresh from the farm like our peppery radishes and healthy leafy greens!

This week we have been busy seeding more Fall crops to keep our cooler stocked with our best selling baby greens! To make this job easier, we use a special tool called a Jang Seeder which drops tiny seeds precisely an inch apart from one another so that we can grow dense rows of leafy greens like arugula and kale. Stop by the Farm Tour this Saturday to pick up a bag of these delicious baby greens and stay tuned as our Kale and Collards size up for the first harvest!
